Below are some video links worth checking out for further information on both modern and ancient visonaries and the wisdom they provided us all. Just click on the provided links to expand your understanding of ancient metaphysics and modern physics.
The BBC has produced several documentaries on Bohr, including segments on the coat of arms and the complementarity principle. Search for “Niels Bohr documentary” on archive sites and university film collections. The Copenhagen Institute of Theoretical Physics also maintains a short documentary on Bohr’s philosophical views that is worth viewing.
BBC Quantum Mechanics DOCUMENTARY – The Search For Reality (2000) – Albert Einstein, Niels Bohr
A series of thirteen dialogues filmed at Brockwood Park in 1980, published in video form and later in book form. These are primary source material of the highest order. The Krishnamurti Foundation Trust hosts many of them online. They are long, slow, and unlike almost any other physicist-interview material you will find.
The Ending of Time: David Bohm and J. Krishnamurti
Capra has given many hours of interviews on the themes of The Tao of Physics and its later development. His own website fritjofcapra.net hosts his essay “Heisenberg and Tagore,” which is the best short primary-source account we have of that crucial 1929 meeting.
The Tao of Physics and Beyond: An interview with Fritjof Capra
An academically serious channel run by a philosopher of Western esotericism. Episodes on the Corpus Hermeticum, the Emerald Tablet, Newton’s alchemy, and the Hermetic tradition are all relevant here and are the best-researched video material on these topics available for free.
The Occult: a Special Show & Tell Featuring Dr. Justin Sledge
Robert Lawrence Kuhn’s long-running series contains interviews with numerous living physicists including Roger Penrose, Henry Stapp, Bernard d’Espagnat, and others who continue the philosophical conversation the founders started. The interviews are short (ten to fifteen minutes each) and well curated. The series archive is at closertotruth.com.
Closer to Truth (PBS) interviews with physicists
Matt O’Dowd’s series gives a clear, accessible account of Wheeler’s delayed-choice experiment and its experimental confirmations. Roughly fifteen minutes. A good visual companion to the Wheeler material in Section 2.
